Quirky Fonts attends the National Wedding Show

If you had told me back in April 2020 that I would be showcasing my work at the NEC for three days, I honestly would have laughed and rolled my eyes at you. But that is exactly what happened.

No, not the laughing or the sarcastic response but actually attending the National Wedding Show in March!

After months of planning and researching how to create an awesome stand, I think it is fair to say that I smashed it - Scroll down to see for yourself!

Whilst my usual set up is great at the smaller, regional shows, there was no way I was using my clothes rail and curtains.

We reused items that had come back from exhibitions, created new styles of signage to not only reach out to the couples that love rustic weddings, but to those who like a bit of a modern taste and tried out my new digital business cards.

It was a fantastic day, and a show I don’t regret attending. The hall was full of beautiful dresses, happy couples with their wedding parties. Though I still think an adult creche should be set up to those who were dragged and really wanted to stay at home - Just a suggestion.

The idea of sustainability was incredibly popular with all couples this year and it is expected to continue. It is something I am very passionate about and will always do my best to find ways to apply this to my business. If you want to see how sustainable your wedding can be with signage and stationery, then get in touch with me for a chat.

I met some really lovely couples along with their friends and family. The quotations have gone out and I’ve managed to rest up. Three days on your feet is pretty tiring! Did you attend the NWS, what did you think?

A HAA-UGE thank you to Emma from Mayflower & Lily for providing the gorgeous flowers. Yes, they are silk and yes, they look amazing! Emma, along with my friend Charlotte came to the rescue and kept me company during the live days, thank you ladies!

Next show for me is the Lincolnshire County Wedding Show on the 12th March, held at the Lincolnshire Showground. Will I see you there? Let me know in the comments.
